IMD Breathwork and The Man Cave Project Offer Free Men’s Mental Health Event

In observance of Men’s Mental Health Month, IMD Breathwork has partnered with The Man Cave Project to offer a free, transformative breathwork experience this Sunday evening at 7:30 PM at The Heal Hub. This special event aims to bolster men’s emotional well-being and mental resilience through a guided journey designed to process and release emotional complexities related to the past, loss, and lingering burdens.
The session, aptly titled “The Shift: Release What Is No More,” will be facilitated by Brendon Hansford, the founder of IMD Breathwork. It is specifically designed to aid in the transformation of grief into strength, acceptance, and a renewed sense of purpose. Through a combination of dynamic breathing exercises, powerful affirmations, and proven emotional release techniques, participants will be gently led to confront and navigate challenging emotions such such as shock, pain, guilt, anger, bargaining, and depression. Each breath serves as a catalyst for a shift from sorrow towards understanding, enabling individuals to effectively let go of what no longer serves them.
This initiative is envisioned as more than just a healing experience; it is a profound journey towards deep personal growth. By courageously facing and processing their experiences of loss, participants are empowered to create vital space for hope, inner peace, and new beginnings. Regardless of whether the loss is a recent event or a deeply held memory, attendees are expected to emerge from the session feeling lighter, more empowered, and better prepared to embrace life with renewed resilience and a sense of possibility.
Brendon Hansford shared his personal motivation and the core message of this collaboration, “Men are often taught to bottle things up — but true strength comes from knowing how to release, regulate, and rise. This collaboration with The Man Cave is about normalising emotional wellbeing and giving men the tools to show up for themselves and others in a more empowered way. I know what it’s like to feel helpless and when I discovered the power of breathwork I created IMD Breathwork to enable everyone to breath, heal, transform and thrive.”
This special event is a key component of a broader movement to destigmatize mental health conversations among men, fostering environments where vulnerability is not only accepted but actively celebrated as a pathway to healing.
The event is free of charge and open to the public, however, space is limited. Interested participants are required to register in advance via www.themancaveproject.com to secure their spot.
