Sharjah Chamber and SRERD Unveil New Features of ACRES 2024 Edition

In a recent press conference, the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD) unveiled the details of the upcoming Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition – “ACRES 2024”. The event, which is scheduled to take place from January 17th to 20th at the Expo Centre Sharjah, is under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.

“ACRES” serves as a prestigious platform for real estate companies and developers to showcase their new projects. It also provides an excellent opportunity for various segments of interested individuals and investors to explore investment opportunities. Furthermore, it mirrors the robust growth of the real estate sector, attributed to the economic initiatives and incentives offered by the UAE government to residents who aspire to live, work, and invest in the country, a preferred safe and stable global destination.

The organizing committee announced the participation of over 372 new real estate projects from both domestic and international sources, including projects from the UAE, the Sultanate of Oman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Georgia, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Turkey. The exhibition also exclusively features offers from major participating real estate developers.

The exhibition space has expanded by 60% compared to the previous year to accommodate the growing demand from participating companies, following the tremendous success of the last edition in terms of exclusive investment deals and high-value sales and transactions. The new edition is anticipated to attract a large and unprecedented number of visitors, surpassing the impressive turnout seen in its previous editions.

The committee also highlighted that each edition of the exhibition is dedicated to presenting a diverse array of programs and activities. These include forums, panel discussions, workshops, and specialized industry talks in both Arabic and English, delivered by key industry experts and market leaders discussing the industry and its prospects. Additionally, valuable prizes will be drawn.

Abdulaziz Ahmed Al-Shamsi, Director General of Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, said during his speech, “The exhibition this year is being held at a time when the emirate is witnessing the launch of various commercial, industrial, and residential projects, which reflects the continuous growth of the real estate sector in Sharjah.” His Excellency added, “The emirate is attracting investments and capital, and hence, the population is increasing, which in turn increased the demand for residential real estate. Such demand was met and enhanced by Sharjah Executive Council Resolution No. (30) issued in November 2022, which allowed all nationalities to own real estate of all kinds without limitation of time in real estate development areas and projects, after getting the approval.”
