The Saudi National Bodybuilding Championship will be held at FIBO Arabia 2025 in collaboration with the Saudi Bodybuilding Federation (SBBF). This event, named the FIBO Arabia x SBBF National Championship, will feature Saudi athletes competing for a spot to represent the nation at the IFBB World Bodybuilding Championships in Khobar from November 27 to December 1.

FIBO Arabia, organized by RX Arabia, will take place from October 1 to 3, 2025, at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Centre. The event will focus on health, fitness, and wellness under the theme ‘For a strong and healthy society’. The national bodybuilding competition will be a central feature of the show’s Performance Arena.

Vasyl Zhygalo, Managing Director of Middle East and Emerging Markets at RX, noted that the championship is an important event for the industry, highlighting athleticism and the Kingdom’s global aspirations. He added that the collaboration with the SBBF provides a competitive platform for athletes and strengthens FIBO Arabia’s role as a regional fitness hub.

The bodybuilding championship will allow attendees to observe Saudi athletes. The Performance Arena at FIBO Arabia will also include a wellness program with meet-and-greet sessions and talks from industry figures.

Ayman Mohammad Al-Rashed, President of the Saudi Bodybuilding Federation, stated that bodybuilding is growing in Saudi Arabia. He believes this championship will showcase the nation’s athletes and provide a path for international representation. Al-Rashed also mentioned that partnering with FIBO Arabia will help raise athletes’ profiles and inspire future bodybuilders.

In addition to the bodybuilding championship, a Callisthenics Arena, sponsored by Rhythm Calisthenics, will be introduced. This area will host GCC and international athletes for challenges and competitions focusing on strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination. A Group Fitness Arena and another Performance Arena are also planned for FIBO Arabia.

FIBO Arabia 2025 is held under the patronage and with the support of the Ministry of Investment and its Sport Sector Team. The event supports Saudi Vision 2030’s emphasis on health, wellbeing, and sports. It serves as a platform to attract investment, foster partnerships, and support the growth of Saudi Arabia’s health and fitness industry.

The inaugural event is expected to host over 10,500 visitors, more than 140 exhibitors, 50 global speakers, 375 qualified buyers, and 50 hosted decision-makers. It will offer opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and business development, showcasing gym equipment, nutrition, digital wellness, and sportswear. FIBO Arabia 2025 aims to highlight Saudi Arabia’s developing role in athletic excellence and healthy living.
